For instance, if you want yellow, why not allow your bridesmaids to choose dresses in all shades of yellow. Or you can even try to choose a theme like pastels, allowing your bridesmaids to wear any color as long as it is a pastel shade. You can choose one dress and allow your bridesmaids to choose the color.
Gone are the days when everything has to match, so don’t worry if your bridesmaids dresses don’t match your napkins. Try to keep things in the same family, but don’t worry if the colors aren’t exact.

As we grow older, friends start to spread out. If some of your bridesmaids live far away, it can limit your choices in bridesmaids gowns. If you do have out-of-town members of your wedding party, it may be easier to find a nationally franchised bridal shop. While you may not get all the personal service, your friend will be able to get the exact dress and color as everyone else. If you are having trouble finding a shop in both your areas, try using a catalog or website. As long as the bridesmaid has a good seamstress available, she’ll fit right into your wedding.
